Hip Pain:

Conditions such as hip bursitis, hip impingement, and piriformis syndrome can cause pain and limited mobility in the hip area.

Knee Pain:

Common conditions include patellofemoral pain syndrome, IT band syndrome, meniscus injuries, and osteoarthritis. These can cause pain, swelling, and difficulty with movement.

Ankle and Foot Pain:

Conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis, ankle sprains, and tarsal tunnel syndrome can cause pain and discomfort in the feet and ankles.

De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis:

Inflammation of the tendons on the thumb side of the wrist, causing pain and swelling, particularly with thumb movement.

Trigger Finger (Stenosing Tenosynovitis):

A condition where a finger gets stuck in a bent position and then snaps straight. It is caused by inflammation of the tendons in the finger.

Bursitis:

Inflammation of the bursae, the small fluid-filled sacs that cushion the joints. It can occur in various joints, including the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee.

COMMON EXTREMITY CONDITIONS

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome:

A condition caused by compression of the median nerve as it passes through the carpal tunnel in the wrist, leading to pain, numbness, and tingling in the hand and fingers.

Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis):

Inflammation of the tendons on the outer part of the elbow, often caused by repetitive wrist and arm motions. Symptoms include pain and tenderness on the outside of the elbow.

Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis):

Similar to tennis elbow, but it affects the tendons on the inside of the elbow. It is caused by repetitive wrist and arm movements and leads to pain and tenderness on the inner side of the elbow.

Shoulder Pain and Dysfunction:

Conditions such as rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), and shoulder impingement can cause pain and limited range of motion in the shoulder.
